About Seebridge
When technology, leadership, and institutions must move together
Seebridge is an advisory firm for leaders building new ventures and projects, evaluating investments, or applying technology inside established organizations.
Seebridge helps leaders when the path to value is unclear or when strategy, evidence, economics, financing, and execution do not yet support one another. It also helps when progress requires change within the leader, team, or organization—or commitment from customers, investors, partners, boards, regulators, or other institutions.
Led by Brant Richards, Seebridge works directly with leaders. Brant co-founded Younicos, which grew from four people to more than 150 and delivered two first-of-kind energy systems. At RMI, he built and led Third Derivative, where more than $500 million was mobilized for over 160 climate-tech ventures.
Technology gains value only insofar as it allows people and institutions to do that which was impossible before. Seebridge begins with what is technically real, then works outward: where it creates value, who must commit, what must change, and what it will take to make it happen.

How Seebridge Helps
Choose the course. Carry the change. Get others to act.
Clarity
A credible course.
Understand what the technology makes possible and where applying it can create value. Build the commercial or financing case, determine what must be proven, and choose a course people can commit to.
Capacity
People equipped to carry the change.
Strengthen the leader's resilience, judgment, adaptability, and communication to navigate uncertainty, pressure, pivots, and difficult conversations. Build the team's trust, cohesion, operating rhythm, and accountability to put the strategy into practice.
Commitment
Decisions that become action.
Identify the people and institutions whose support matters. Build the case, open the right conversations, support negotiation, and coordinate decisions until interest becomes commitment and action.
Every engagement is shaped around the targeted outcome and the change required to enable it. In practice, that often means building clarity, capacity, and commitment together.
Brant understands technology without becoming trapped inside it. He knows commercializing innovation is as much a human challenge as a strategic one. He helped me clarify critical choices, prepare for consequential conversations, and strengthen how the team worked together.

Frequently asked questions
What kinds of organizations and technologies does Seebridge work with?
Seebridge works with ventures, projects, investments, and strategic initiatives inside established organizations. Its deepest experience is where digital intelligence meets physical systems—including energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, software, data, AI, connected devices, and controls—but relevance depends on the outcome, not a particular industry or technology category.
Do I need a defined scope before contacting Seebridge?
No. Seebridge can help clarify both the problem and the appropriate mandate. The first conversation is exploratory and creates no obligation to proceed.
What does a Seebridge engagement involve?
Seebridge helps clarify commercial and financing strategy, strengthen leadership and team capacity, and prepare for consequential customer, investor, partner, board, or regulatory decisions. It does not provide engineering, product development, or hands-on technical implementation. When specialized expertise is required, Seebridge and the client determine which internal or independently engaged specialists should participate.
Who can engage Seebridge, and who participates in the work?
An investor, board, fund, accelerator, company, or institution may engage Seebridge. The work remains centered on the leader accountable for the outcome and may involve the team, specialists, or existing advisers when useful.
How is a Seebridge engagement structured?
The agreed mandate defines deliverables, responsibilities, cadence, and boundaries. A typical rhythm combines a quarterly full-day strategic deep dive, monthly half-day sessions that translate strategy into operational goals, and weekly accountability and problem-solving sessions—all directed toward the scoped outcome.
How does Seebridge determine fees?
Fees reflect the scope, duration, intensity, and responsibilities of the engagement. Seebridge does not use fixed packages; commercial terms are discussed after the fit conversation, once there is enough context to define the work.
How does Seebridge handle confidentiality?
Initial conversations are confidential. Before substantive work begins, Seebridge and the client agree how sensitive information will be handled, who may receive it, and whether an NDA or other specific protections are required.
Does Seebridge work internationally and remotely?
Yes. Seebridge works internationally and can engage remotely, in person, or through a combination of both. The format is determined by the people, decisions, and situation.
